Fun-Gal Snacks was founded on a mission to create innovative snacks that harness the benefits of mushrooms and other underloved veggies – all while supporting social causes. Popadelics, Fun-Gal Snacks’ flagship product, are shiitake mushrooms reimagined for the modern superfood snacker that bursts with flavor and packs an addictive crunch. Popadelics is a mushroom-focused, premium, modern, and edgy brand for adventurous snackers, healthy flavor seekers, mindful eaters, and sensory cravers. Mushrooms are notably absent today from grocery store snack aisles, and Popadelics’ goal is to make mushroom snacks mainstream and to revolutionize the way people think about mushrooms.

To produce its signature crunch, Popadelics Crunchy Mushroom Chips leverage a unique cooking method called vacuum frying, which allows foods to cook at much lower temperatures while absorbing less oil and retaining more of their color, nutrients, texture, and flavor. Popadelics are also vegan and a good source of protein and fiber. Popadelics is currently available in three addictive, mouth-watering flavors — Trippin’ Truffle Parm, Twisted Thai Chili, and Rad Rosemary + Salt.

In addition, a portion of all sales of Popadelics supports the Fun-Gal Snacks Foundation, a charitable organization we also founded that supports various causes centered around health and wellness, including the Johns Hopkins Center for Psychedelic & Consciousness Research and their exploration of innovative treatments for improved mental health.
