Set Aside 20 Minutes Each Day to Do This
Time does not stop even if we do. Everyone has priorities, everyone is busy in their life and it is very tough for them to take some time out of their busy schedule to do something out of the box. How can we squeeze more time out of the 24 hours we are given?
There is a lot that you can do in a day, instead of looking for more time, what you can do is set aside 20 minutes each day to do something that can really make a difference in a positive way. This may not sound like a lot of time, but multiply those 20 minutes by 30 days, that makes 600 minutes a month! Who knew you had an extra 600 minutes a month?
Well, without wasting any more time let’s discuss the importance of time, through some activities that you can do in 20 minutes a day, to make your 24 hours more productive.
- Be consistent
It may sound very simple, but it really is a key to success. Being consistent means to block out all the negatives, all the bad things and only focusing on the things you want to do. Once you decide to be consistent in something you will really see a difference in your lifestyle. If you wanted to eat something delicious for a very long time, just do it. If you have been planning to read a novel, just do it, brush everything aside for those 20 minutes.
Here are some activities you can do once you decide to be consistent.
- Meditate
There is nothing better than finding peace through meditation, so once life gives you 20 minutes a day, use them to build resilience. Start by sitting in a comfortable place and location, play meditation music or use aromatherapy because it can enhance your practice. Once you are comfortable, relax your body by closing your eyes and shutting off all distractions. Take a few deep breathes and visualize your stress literally leaving your body.
You don’t need long sessions for stress management when you can eliminate a burden in just 20 minutes. Always remember, a relaxed mind can make healthier decisions.
- Drink water
If you are having a headache, a craving or you are hungry etc., drink water, and you will feel full and relaxed. Water is so important, so easy and free, yet often overlooked. Our body is 70% water and if we ignore drinking the right amount a day and complain about having problems. Water can help increase energy and relieve fatigue, flush out toxins, boost the immune system and maintain regularity.
So drink water, and enjoy a healthier and more refreshing day.
